2 BOLD NEW EXHIBITS AT BREW GALLERY

On exhibit from January 4 to February 2, 2012 are two bold exhibits from Okanagan artists Ed Eaton of Summerland and Anjelika Jaeger of Vernon.

'SATISFACTION' features 20 edition prints on canvas by Eaton in Brew Gallery's Main Gallery. The work was chosen by Curator River Lewis from a decade's production of computer-aided mixed media process. Eaton brings scanned material textures, found objects, and virtual spaces into a collection of lively and flexible storylines.

'COLOUR IS POWER' features 6 handmade works on canvas by Anjelika Jaeger in the Brew Gallery's Fireside Room. The theme of colour relating to personal energy and vitality anchors Jaeger's mixed media process with line, shape, and predominant use of primary colour in the Color Is Power Series exhibited. Also featured is work from the artist's Migration Series.

Brew Gallery is located at 3202 31st Avenue in downtown Vernon, inside the Bean to Brew Coffee House, next door to the Vernon Public Art Gallery.
