ARTIST OPPORTUNITY AND CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
'Rouge' Exhibition at the Brew Gallery from February 7 to March 9 2012

The Brew Gallery now enters its second year of exhibitions in Downtown Vernon BC and is pleased to announce a call for submissions and opportunity for artists to participate in its 11th show 'Rouge'.
February is coming and romance is in the air! What does red mean to you? Whether it is romance, passion, fire, life-force or power, Brew Gallery is accepting submissions of 2-dimensional works in photography, digital art, drawing, painting or mixed media based on your interpretation of the theme ‘Rouge’. All subject matter must be suitable for an all-ages audience.
Please submit 1-5 images of your red(rouge) and/or romance inspired artwork. Suitable media includes 2-dimensional works in photography, digital art, drawing, painting, mixed media.
* ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS in single PDF file may be emailed to brewgallery@gmail.com
* HARDCOPY POSTED OR DROP-OFF SUBMISSIONS in print only (no discs) may be delivered to Brew Gallery c/o Bean to Brew Coffee House, 3202 31st Avenue, Vernon BC V1T2H3
* Submissions should include:
– Artist Name,
– Bio and/or CV and/or Artist Statement,
– Your image(s), and Image List stating Title/Medium/Year for each image,
– Return SASE if requesting your submission material to be returned.
The exhibition of selected work will run from Tuesday February 7 to Friday March 9 2012. The Brew Gallery is located in Downtown Vernon inside the Bean To Brew Coffee House, next door to the Vernon Public Art Gallery and consists of the dedicated Main Gallery space, and the Fireside Room.
Brew Gallery hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00am to 3:00pm Saturdays.
